This service monitors power for both emergency and standard outlets.

Electronic mail alerts are offerred to interested individuals.

This service monitors power for standard outlets with grey wall plates via a representative outlet located on the 1st floor of MBH in the STSS office area.

This service monitors power for emergency outlets with red wall plates via a representative outlet located on the 7th floor of MBH in the Observatory.

Power will generally be restored to emergency outlets before it is restored to standard outlets in the event of a prolonged power interruption.

This service involves a daemon running on a linux machine that monitors an uninterruptible power supply connected via universal serial bus.

This service checks power status every five minutes but should report both in-progress power interruptions and power interruptions that occur between status checks.
